+Good day! I am ULTRACOMFY. I'm roughly 25 years old and I live in Europe ([[blog:why_don_just_say_german|why?]]). My interests are game design, philosophy & science philosophy and aviation. My favorite color is purple, favorite number is 1 (one) and my favorite animal is the majestic polar bear, closely followed by corvids (the family that includes crows) and sea otters. There are all kinds of things that I like doing, from playing or thinking about video games, writing, flight simming and climbing, to learning and thinking a lot about my interests. I also like teaching others about things I am interested in.
-Dabbler, dilettante, jacks-of-trades, tinkerer, generalist, but ultimately a problem solver. Without an academic career or particular skills to show off, I developed a very //wide//, rather than //deep// set of tools to be able to solve problems requiring knowledge from a multitude of fields all at once rather than a lot of knowledge in one field specifically. Creating and hosting a website, audio, video and image manipulation, office, physical work and, most importantly, the ability to acquire many skills very quickly to enable a rapid and targeted approach to problem solving, even in fields I may have never heard of before. I dabble in a lot of fields, though the fields I am interested in the most are game design, video game music, ethics, computer science, social sciences, science in general, philosophy, psychology, fictional/creative writing and then some things I may have accidentally wandered into from time to time, including penology, (geo)politics, pathology, military warfare, programming, game dev/mod, datamining and always the current rabbit hole. I'm always in some kind of rabbit hole, right now it is DokuWiki because, well, I'm setting up a DokuWiki and need to find out how it works.
+In real life I am a reserved, flighty person who keeps to themselves. My Myers-Briggs type is ISTP; I am largely individualistic, independent, self-determined (stubborn) and //really// motivated to understand things and systems. My favorite way of learning is documentation-guided trial and error. I tend to get sucked into all kinds of different rabbit holes about all kinds of things, too many to list.\\
